In Honor of Bo Schembechler and the University of Michigan's Cardiovascular Center, Omega Gamma Pi hosted a Flag Football tournament
on campus on April 4, 2009.
Proceeds were donated to the University of Michigan's Cardiovascular Center, for research on heart health issues such as cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, and sudden cardiac death.
Congratulations to "For Love of the Game" for winning the tournament and the NCAA Basketball Championship tickets!
Congratulations to finalist "Cowboy Up" and semifinalists "House Protectors and "Some Pimps."

Bo Schembechler worked tirelessly for the cause of heart health research long after he led the Michigan Football Team to prominence. He spent extensive time working off the field to help educate the public on cardiovascular disease. His commitment and contributions to research parallels his devotion and leadership shown through his athletic coaching. Through the "Heart of a Champion" Fund, doctors can continue to work towards Bo's cause of heart health issues. |
